There are now three HAFP locations where people can access food: Hardwick, Craftsbury, and Albany

Since March 2020, we estimate a 25% increase in total households served monthly, with 30% accessing the delivery program and 30% accessing more frequent visits. If you find yourself seeking emergency food assistance, you are not alone. And if lack of transportation is a problem, delivery is available.

  • 3SquaresVT

    3SquaresVT gives money to eligible participants every month tos a buy groceries at more than 600 retailers and 40 farmers markets across Vermont.

  • Northeast Kingdom Food Access Directory

    A directory of food shelves, community meals, senior meals, and delivery services in Caledonia, Orleans, Essex, and Washington counties.

  • Vermont 2-1-1

    A free, confidential information and referral program of the United Ways of Vermont, helping to connect Vermonters with a wide range of community, health, and human resources and services. Simply call 2-1-1 on your phone, text your zipcode to 828211, or click on the button below.

  • Grow Your Own

    Grow Your Own offers free workshops taught by neighbors that focus on gardening, cooking, and food preservation. The mission of Grow Your Own is to increase food independence, better health and well-being through shared knowledge and experience.

  • Community Garden

    Located at Atkins Field, The Hardwick Community Gardens offer gardening spaces for those who do not have enough space at their homes. Depending on income, some gardeners qualify for one free lease on a garden bed per year.

  • Meals for Seniors

    Sites include the Craftsbury Community Care Center, the Greensboro Nursing Home, and the Old Town Hall in Glover.
