  • PIES FOR PEOPLE

    Pies for People is a community baking initiative calling on families, individuals, businesses, and groups to bake pies for the Hardwick Area Food Pantry‘s Thanksgiving boxes! Join the effort at our sites in Hardwick, Craftsbury, and Albany and help make the holidays a bit brighter for our neighbors facing food insecurity.

  • BUY A TURKEY

    Kiwanis, OSSU, and Buffalo Mountain Market are hosting a Turkey Drive! A suggested donation of $15 will help purchase a turkey for our Thanksgiving boxes. Donate online below; by check made payable to “Kiwanis” at either the OSSU Central Office, Buffalo Mountain Market; or by connecting with any Kiwanis member. Checks can also be mailed directly to the Kiwanis at PO Box 856, Hardwick, VT 05843.

  • TURKEY TROT

    Join us and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center on November 23 for a Turkey Trot on the scenic gravel roads of Craftsbury! There will be a raffle and free kids race. All proceeds benefit the Hardwick Area Food Pantry.

  • CRAFTSBURY FOOD DRIVE

    Between Nov. 3- 15, the C-Village Store and Craftsbury Genny will have items on their shelves that the HAFP has requested. Community members may shop there (or anywhere they prefer) to purchase items to donate to the HAFP’s Craftsbury site. There will be also be Donation Jars in the stores. On Saturday, November 15, there will be a tent in front of Town Hall, 9am- 1pm to collect food and/or cash or check donations. There may even be a "turkey" dancing in the streets!

  • BUFFALO MOUNTAIN MARKET GIFT CARDS

    SNAP benefits are on hold, and while Vermont will cover half by Nov. 7, many families are still coming up short when they need it the most.

    Buffalo Mountain Market is aiming to raise $7,600 to help bridge the gap until those funds arrive.

    Donations fund $50 Co-op gift cards for customers who need them. Donate at the register, by phone, or by mail. Every bit helps. Gift cards will be available November 1st.

  • HOLLY JOLLY BRAWL

    A Martial Arts kids-only tournament to benefit the Hardwick Area Food Pantry!

    When: December 13th. Doors Open at 7:30am and the event kicks off at 9:00am.

    Where: Hazen Union High School 126 Hazen Union Drive Hardwick, VT

    What: Gi and No Gi Grappling, Flag Sparring & Point Sparring, Weapons Forms & Empty Hand Forms, Padded Swords Division
